Media for Development: using media to change lives
James was a BBC radio journalist working in Africa when he saw the potential for radio to be used for community development. In classic social entrepreneur fashion, he set up a social business called “Radio for Development” which works in various African countries to support communities making and broadcasting their own radio programmes. At SSE he came to pilot a prison radio project and explore replication possibilities. more>>>
